How to Purchase and Download Email Templates

Purchasing an email template collection gives you a downloadable zip file containing professionally designed HTML layouts for your Shopify notification emails. Here is how to buy and download a collection.

Step 1: Go to the Email Templates Page

In the Iconic Sections app, click Email templates in the left sidebar.

At the top of the page, you will find a featured tutorial video — watching it first is recommended as it walks through the entire setup process from purchase to installation in Shopify.

Step 2: Browse the Collections

The page displays all available email template collections as cards, each showing:

A preview image of the collection's design style
The collection name
The price

Click on any collection card to open its details pop-up, which shows a larger preview and more information about what is included.

Step 3: Purchase the Collection

In the collection details pop-up, click Purchase now.
Shopify's billing prompt appears to show the one-time price.
Click Approve to confirm the purchase.

The charge is processed through Shopify billing and appears on your regular Shopify invoice. It is a one-time payment — there are no recurring fees.

Step 4: Download the Zip File

After the purchase is confirmed:

A Download button appears on the collection.
Click Download to save the zip file to your computer.
The download starts immediately — save it to a location you can find easily, such as your Downloads folder or Desktop.

The zip file contains the HTML template files for all email types included in the collection.

After downloading, extract the zip file straight away and store the HTML files in a dedicated folder on your computer. You will need to return to these files whenever you want to apply or update a template in Shopify.

Re-Downloading a Purchased Collection

If you lose the zip file or need to download it again, you can do so at any time:

Go to My Library in the app.
Click the Emails tab.
Find your purchased collection and click Download to get the file again.

Your purchases are always available in My Library — you never lose access after the initial download.

Frequently asked questions

Can I re-download a collection if I lose the file?

Yes. Your purchase is saved permanently to your account. Go to My Library > Emails tab and click Download on the collection you purchased. The zip file will download again at no cost. There is no limit to how many times you can re-download a purchased collection.

What file format are the email template files?

The downloaded zip file contains HTML files — one for each email notification type included in the collection. HTML is the standard format used by Shopify's email notification editor. You do not need any special software to open these files — any plain text editor (such as Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on Mac) works fine for viewing and editing them before pasting into Shopify.

Where do I find my downloaded email templates after purchasing?

After downloading, your zip file is saved to whatever location you chose on your computer — typically the Downloads folder unless you specified otherwise. If you cannot find it, check your browser's download history (usually accessible from the browser menu or by pressing Ctrl+J / Cmd+J). You can also re-download the file at any time from My Library > Emails tab.
