What Are Email Templates?

Every Shopify store sends automated notification emails to customers — order confirmations, shipping updates, refund notices, and more. By default, these emails use Shopify's basic design. Iconic Sections Email Templates let you replace those with professionally designed, brand-consistent HTML layouts that look polished and build customer trust.

What Is Included

Email Templates are professionally crafted HTML designs for Shopify's standard notification email types. Each collection includes multiple template layouts covering the most common customer-facing notification emails your store sends.

After purchasing a collection, you download a zip file containing the HTML files for each email type, then paste the HTML into Shopify's email notification editor to replace the default design.

Are email templates included in the Pro plan subscription?

No. Email templates are separate products sold as individual one-time purchases and are not included in any subscription plan — Free or Pro. You purchase whichever collection you want and own it permanently. The Pro plan focuses on sections and Conversion Blocks; email templates are an add-on available to all users.

Can I customize the colors and fonts inside the email templates?

Yes. The email templates are delivered as HTML files, so any element — colors, fonts, logo, text, and links — can be customized by editing the HTML directly. The most commonly customized parts (like your store logo and brand colors) are clearly marked in the HTML with comments so you know exactly where to make changes. Basic familiarity with HTML is helpful for deeper customization, though most store owners can handle the logo and color swap without issue.

How many individual email designs are included in each collection?

The exact number of templates varies by collection, but each collection is designed to cover the core Shopify notification emails a store needs — such as order confirmation, shipping confirmation, customer account creation, and refund notification. The exact list of templates is shown on the collection's detail popup in the app before you purchase.
