How to Install

Installing Iconic Sections takes just a few minutes. The app is available in the Shopify App Store and installs like any other Shopify app — no technical knowledge required.

Before You Begin

Make sure you are logged in to the Shopify admin for the store you want to install the app on. You will need the Owner or a staff account with app management permissions.

Installation Steps

Go to the Shopify App Store and search for Iconic Sections.
Click on the Iconic Sections app listing.
Click Add app.
Shopify will show you a list of permissions the app needs to access your store — review them and click Install.
You will be redirected automatically to the Iconic Sections dashboard inside your Shopify admin.

That's it. The app is now installed and the Free plan is active immediately — no credit card required to get started.

Installing the app does not make any visible changes to your live storefront. Sections only appear on your store after you install and add them through the Theme Editor.

What Happens After Installation

Once you land on the dashboard, you will see the Setup Guide — a short three-step checklist that walks you through everything you need to do to get your first section live. It covers watching a quick introduction, enabling the App Embed, and exploring the section library.

Completing the Setup Guide in order is the fastest way to go from installation to a working section on your store.

Accessing the App Later

After installation, you can find Iconic Sections any time by going to your Shopify admin and clicking Apps in the left sidebar. The app runs entirely inside Shopify admin — there is no external website or separate login to remember.

Pin the app to your Shopify admin sidebar for quick access. Click the pin icon next to Iconic Sections in the Apps list.

Frequently asked questions

Can I install Iconic Sections on multiple Shopify stores?

Yes, but each store requires its own separate installation. Installing the app on one store does not give you access on any other store. Each store also needs its own plan — a Pro subscription on one store does not carry over to another. You can install the app on as many stores as you like and manage each one independently.

Is the app free to install?

Yes. The app is free to install and starts you on the Free plan immediately. On the Free plan, you can browse the full section library and install any free sections at no cost. Paid sections are available as one-time purchases whenever you are ready. There is no subscription required to get started, and you will not be charged anything unless you choose to purchase a section or upgrade to Pro.

What permissions does Iconic Sections request during installation?

Iconic Sections requests access to your store's themes in order to upload section files, your orders and billing in order to process one-time purchases through Shopify, and your store's script tags and assets to load the App Embed that makes sections functional on your storefront. These are standard permissions for a theme enhancement app and are required for the app to work correctly.
